Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to Service Data. We do not have control over the substance of Service Data, and we are usually unable to view it due to security precautions in the Platform. The Company is considered the Customer's Processor for any Personal Data in the Service Data under GDPR and similar legislation.

Workflow processes personal data in the Service Data as directed by the relevant Customer or as required by law, as stated in the The Company Terms of Service or alternative agreement (if applicable) signed between The Company and Customer for the Service Offerings. The customer who is authorized to manage the administrator account on each Workspace on the Platform is determined by The Company. The Customer who established the Workspace is the Controller of all information given by any User to that Workspace, including Regular Users, External Users, and Collaborators. Even if those individuals are employees of another Customer, as each Customer is a Controller of only its own Workspaces, the preceding is true. Logging in to a Workspace and selecting "Profile," then "Profile Settings," and finally "Account Information" allows Regular Users to obtain contact information for the relevant Customer's administrator(s). Other people may reach out to The Company in order for the The Company team to pass on a request or inquiry to a specific Workplace's administrator or designated contact point.

The Company may provide any Service Data, including deleted Service Data, or data previously provided by deactivated Users, to the Customer in accordance with its Privacy Policy. As a result, Users and other individuals should contact the relevant Customer if they have any Personal Data requests relating to them that may appear in that Customer's Service Data. If a User submits a request to The Company for access to Service Data, we will forward the request to the relevant Customer and work with that customer in handling it, subject to any special contracts with that Customer. Directly responding to requests from Customer account administrators relating their Personal Data is within The Company's rights.

The Privacy Statement applies to both Service Data and Non-Service Data, such as Personal Data relating to:

  • Visitors to our sites and events;
  • Prospective Customers and their staff;
  • Users who sign up for our newsletters or marketing materials; and
  • Customers and end users, in relation to their selection of Service Offerings and management of the connection with The Company.

This Privacy Statement does not, however, apply to any data we may collect during our own recruiting and human resources management operations.

Security

We maintain physical, organizational, and technical barriers to secure Service Data within the Platform, which are subject to periodic adjustments. Customers' access to specific security measures on their Platform Plan will vary. The degree of protection for the Service Data is determined by Customer's use of available safeguards. Those protections do not apply over communications via other means such as email or phone with The Company. Third-party applications and services incorporated into our Service Offerings, such as Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, and other connections, are handled by those third parties according to their own privacy and security standards

We employ a variety of security measures to protect the other Personal Data we handle. There is no such thing as a perfect security technique, and we can't promise that any data will be kept safe.

Data Retention

Personal Data is kept as long as necessary to achieve the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy. For backup and business continuity, information may remain in hard copies for an additional period of time.
